But if you ask me where can find a nice, special and some more exciting taste of roti plata then the answer shall belongs to “Warung Pak Omar”. A place situated in Taman Seri Penggaram. Where is it? Turn into the road opposite JKR Batu Pahat, then turn right in the first T junction go straight and turn left then go straight along the way. Until you need to drive high to the hill and you can see a small hut same as picture shown above then you can try to seek for parking place. It was located nearby a playground.

This is the Batu Pahat famous “Wan Tan Mee” since 20 plus years ago. When I was young, I have been brought by my mum to have our lunch in their very old shoplot kind of restaurant. Adapt to the environment changed, this popular noodle house among Batu Pahat has moved to their new shoplot (old shoplot still remained) in Jalan Tan Swee Ho nearby Carrefour Batu Pahat.

With just simple kind of tables & chairs and clean renovation, Ah See Noodle House still attracted quite a number of regular customers and even from outstation. What I can see the difference was their workers already have their own shop uniforms which is in orange colour.

“Wan Tan Mee” with “Char Siew”, vegetables and “Wan Tan” is my most favourite food in Batu Pahat. The noodles is soft and “cute” enough to be bite and the “Wan Tan” is fresh in meat wrapped inside. Another unique selling point is their irreplaceable taste of sauce mixed around with noodles. I am ensure to you that nobody can fight against their unique recipe of sauce mixed within the noodles. I said NOBODY to everybody !!!

As you can see this kind of traditional signboard, it represent that they still remained their noodles as their traditional kind of business and respect themselves as the heir of the noodles house in Batu Pahat.

The noodles price range are still falls within RM 2.00 to RM 3.00 and depends on the size (small, medium, big or extra big). To me, it is still valuable and worth to be taken.

Finally, Ah See Noodle House is a MUST TRY restaurant in Batu Pahat.

But I am not going to share with you all on steaks somehow others that are delicious too. D’Origin dining was built up with black and gray colour as their main. The atmosphere was quiet and I think it will be better if I enjoy my dinner here. After that can go shop around because this area was surrounded by shoplots of dessert, fashion, bookshop, pub and etc.

Wasabi fish which I found fresh and juicy. Some more it takes us to another level of taste with the light wasabi added on it. The wasabi was not as strong as Sushi King. Really worth to try and only cost you RM7.90 per serve and I just found out D’Origin did not extra charged me govn. tax and serv. charge in my bill. Love its nets design of wasabi added on!

I have tried Onion Soup with its garlic bread. It was nice soup and with amazing strong taste of its garlic bread. Nice soup in the meaning that “Onion soup” was not too strong smell but soft and smooth when the soup go through our tongue. And I would like to tell you that its garlic bread is far better than Pizza Hut. The bread was crunchy and strong garlic taste.
